Having left TES in early 2000, and started contracting at Motorola in February 2000, we decided to have a two-week holiday in the US.
We started with a week in Los Angeles, at a Holiday Inn and did Universal Studios and met with Don and Fred from DX Radio with dinner in the Burbank Hills, then went off to Las Vegas for a few days, staying at the Monte Carlo and then went back to Los Angeles where we met with Fred and Don again for a cafe lunch – our treat.
We bought our first digital camera in the 2nd trip to Los Angeles so there is no evidence of the Vegas Trip!!
